Job summary

212 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join our compliance team. This role covers the West Midlands and surrounding areas, performing risk assessments to help clients maintain safe, compliant water systems.

You will inspect water systems, monitor temperatures, collect samples, and produce clear reports with practical recommendations. Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274, plus relevant training, is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Legionella risk assessment and water hygiene.
• Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274.
• Relevant Legionella training/certification.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Complete Legionella risk assessments across commercial, industrial and residential sites.
• Inspect hot & cold water systems, cooling towers and associated assets.
• Carry out temperature monitoring, water sampling and hygiene works.
• Produce clear, detailed reports with practical recommendations.
• Advise clients on remedial actions and compliance with ACOP L8 / HSG274.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate findings effectively.
