Job summary

Concept Environmental Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Legionella Risk Assessor to join the Field Team in Bristol. You will conduct compliant risk assessments across commercial and industrial sites in line with ACOP L8, HSG274, and company standards, working independently with the Water Hygiene Team.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, a City & Guilds Legionella qualification, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to produce audit-ready reports and practical recommendations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience delivering Legionella risk assessments in commercial/industrial sites.
• Advanced knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274 (Parts 1–3) and ability to apply guidance.
• Proven ability to produce audit-ready reports.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead Legionella risk assessments across Bristol and surrounding areas in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274.
• Identify system risks and deliver compliant, practical control recommendations.
• Conduct detailed inspections including temperature profiling, flow testing, asset evaluation, and schematic updates.
• Produce high quality, client-ready reports with photographic evidence and regulatory compliance.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding long-term water safety strategies.
• Manage workload across Bristol and surrounding areas, delivering reports within SLA timescales.
