Job summary

Marlowe Environmental Services (Part of Mitie) is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to join our specialist team in Salisbury. You will deliver Legionella risk assessments across diverse client environments, using digital tools to capture, analyse and report findings.

The role requires a City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification, proven experience, and a strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and related guidance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience conducting legionella risk assessments within water treatment or water hygiene
• Detail oriented compliance professional focused on delivering exceptional service
• Strong working knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1 and HTM 04-01 compliance frameworks
• Excellent IT literacy with experience using digital reporting systems
• Ability to produce accurate schematic drawings and technical documentation
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality Legionella risk assessments to the highest professional standards
• Use industry leading digital tools to capture, analyse, and report data efficiently
• Produce schematic drawings and maintain accurate compliance records through delivery excellence
• Provide clear, practical recommendations to support compliance and risk reduction
• Build strong relationships with clients through professional, expert service
• Support operational delivery to ensure contractual and compliance commitments are consistently achieved
• Conduct assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 (4th Edition), HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01 guidance
• Supporting a culture of safety, accountability and operational excellence throughout the business
