Job summary

Marlowe Environmental Services, part of Mitie, is seeking a skilled Legionella Risk Assessor in Salisbury to deliver industry-leading compliance services for diverse client environments. You will conduct high-quality risk assessments and report findings using digital tools, producing actionable recommendations and strong client liaison.

Ideal candidates have a City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification, proven assessment experience, and solid knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282,

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience conducting legionella risk assessments within the water treatment or water hygiene industry.
• Strong working knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1 and HTM 04-01 compliance frameworks.
• Excellent IT literacy and ability to produce accurate schematic drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality Legionella risk assessments to the highest professional standards.
• Use industry leading digital tools to capture, analyse, and report data efficiently.
• Produce schematic drawings and maintain accurate compliance records through delivery excellence.
• Provide clear, practical recommendations to support compliance and risk reduction.
• Build strong relationships with clients through professional, expert service.
• Support operational delivery to ensure contractual and compliance commitments are consistently achieved.
• Conduct assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 (4th Edition), HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01 guidance.
• Supporting a culture of safety, accountability and operational excellence throughout the business.
