Job summary

Solutions Engineering Recruitment is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to join our expanding team across the UK, with a focus on Yorkshire.

The role requires 2+ years' experience, knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG274, and a valid UK driving licence. You will conduct risk assessments, site surveys, and report findings to clients with clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Legionella Risk Assessor experience.
• Strong understanding of ACoP L8 and HSG274.
• WMSoc or City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification – essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Legionella risk assessments in line with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidelines.
• Carry out site surveys of domestic and commercial water systems.
• Identify potential risks and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
• Produce detailed, accurate reports within agreed timeframes.
• Advise clients on control measures and compliance improvements.
• Support other team members with water hygiene and remedial works when required.

Location: UK wide but predominately Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum plus company vehicle, fuel card, credit card, phone, tablet, pension and 25 days holiday excluding statutory days

We are looking for a skilled and professional Legionella Risk Assessor to join our expanding team.
We’re seeking someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to delivering top-quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Legionella risk assessments in line with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidelines
