Legal Secretary (Litigation), Bedfordshire, Temporary 2-month role with strong extension potential, GBP 26,000+ (DOE) Pro Rata, JOB REF:0181

Are you an experienced Legal Secretary seeking your next opportunity in a supportive and reputable firm? We're looking for a proactive, organised, and professional Legal Secretary to join a well-established firm in Bedfordshire.

In this role, you'll provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to solicitors, helping ensure the smooth running of the department. You'll be part of a friendly, collaborative team where your skills and initiative are valued.

The Role
  • Providing vital secretarial and administrative support to solicitors dealing with a broad range of litigation matters, mainly property litigation.
  • Audio and copy typing legal documents and correspondence.
  • Preparing and amending client documentation.
  • Diary management and arranging appointments.
  • Liaising with clients, courts, and external bodies.
  • Managing files, opening and closing matters.
  • Assisting with billing and time recording.
Skills Required
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in a legal secretary role, ideally within a property litigation department.
  • Strong typing and administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • A friendly and professional manner when dealing with clients.
  • Confident using legal software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
