Wakefield Council invites applications for the position of Legal Officer within the Child Care Team.

Successful candidates will assist senior team members on matters related to safeguarding children and family support. Under supervision, you'll help prepare legal documentation, conduct research, attend Family Court hearings, and perform administrative tasks.
The role is varied and intellectually demanding. Applicants should have knowledge of social care law and practice and be able to work under pressure. The Council offers relevant training and supervision to support your development.
