Overview

Support with reviewing, drafting and negotiating supplier agreements for the procurement team, including all direct and indirect material procurement. Serve as the principal legal business partner to the Procurement function.

This role primarily covers procurement arrangements governed by UK law but involves collaboration with global legal colleagues to support international negotiations. Transactional work includes complex procurement agreements across multiple geographies. The role holder must ensure all contractual arrangements comply with PepsiCo policies, including anti-bribery, Supplier Code of Conduct, and information security. Additionally, the role involves developing and implementing training programs for the procurement team.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate UK law governed supplier agreements for the Procurement function.
• Collaborate with internal clients such as Vendor Management, Information Security, Corporate Risk, Supply Chain, Finance, and Control to provide legal advice, maximize value, and mitigate risks.
• Provide legal support for supplier disputes, manage related litigation, and assist with procurement audits.
• Represent Procurement CEC to ensure a robust control environment.
• Work with internal teams on process improvements to enhance efficiency and promote best practices in procurement contract management, aligning with sector simplification goals.
• Ensure all contractual arrangements comply with PepsiCo policies, including anti-bribery, Supplier Code of Conduct, and data privacy/security requirements.
