Purpose of The Role
The continued success of the team has led to an increase in the number and value of key mandates. We are looking to recruit a Construction lawyer to join our Leeds team specialising in contentious construction matters. This includes acting for Developers, Lenders, Landlords, Tenants, PPPs, and Public Sector Bodies across a range of JCT, NEC, and other standard form contracts and bespoke terms.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in high-caliber work, client relationship development, and the continued expansion of the team and practice.
This is a high performing, cohesive, and busy team with a strong client list and pipeline. Legal Directors are encouraged and supported to lead client relationships and supervise the team, fostering client networks and management skills.
With over 100 specialist lawyers, including 26 Partners, our Construction and Engineering team offers comprehensive legal solutions to all aspects of the construction industry.
Our Leeds team comprises 6 partners and over 30 fee earners. Recognized for their expertise, the team remains Tier 1 ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers. They advise on all sectors of Construction Law, both contentious and non-contentious, including buildings, civil, energy, infrastructure, utilities, and more.
