Job summary

DAC Beachcroft LLP seeks an experienced Legal Counsel to provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice and governance support across the organisation. You will work with senior stakeholders to navigate regulatory obligations, risk management, and strategic decision-making, while shaping a strong culture of compliance.

The role covers commercial contracts, governance, financial crime, AML, and regulatory compliance, with broad exposure to business partnering and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or equivalent legal qualification.
• Strong governance, regulatory, risk management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and business partnering skills.
• Experience advising across commercial contracts and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide legally sound, commercially-oriented advice across the organisation.
• Support development and delivery of Legal & Governance strategy.
• Partner with senior stakeholders on regulatory, risk, and compliance matters.
• Lead or contribute to audits, investigations, and policy development.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts and supplier agreements.
