Job summary

DAC Beachcroft LLP is seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to establish and continuously enhance our enterprise data governance framework. This is a senior leadership role ensuring claims, client and case data remain accurate, protected and compliant.

You will define standards, policies and controls across business and technology, acting as the central data governance expert for owners, stewards and custodians.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, implementing or improving data governance in a complex or regulated environment.
• Good knowledge of UK GDPR and its practical application.
• Experience with data catalogue, metadata and data lineage tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview).
• Knowledge of master data management and data quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of the data governance framework.
• Define data quality standards, ownership models and metadata management.
• Drive data classification and access control across systems.
• Establish and monitor data quality KPIs and resolve issues.
