I'm working with an energy company delivering some of the most significant infrastructure projects in the UK. They’re looking for a construction lawyer to join their legal team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave. The role is based in London with hybrid working and focuses on complex supply chain contracts and NEC frameworks.

You’ll work closely with commercial and delivery teams, providing legal advice across procurement, contract negotiation, and risk management. It's a hands-on, collaborative role where your legal input will directly support project delivery.

What they’re looking for
  1. A qualified solicitor in England & Wales with experience in construction law
  2. Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts, particularly in an infrastructure setting
  3. Comfortable advising stakeholders across legal, commercial, and delivery functions
  4. Able to give clear, practical legal advice in a fast-paced environment
  5. Experience in-house or on secondment is a bonus
