• Assisting with supplier, customer and strategic business agreements.
• Providing pragmatic legal advice on a broad range of day-to-day in-house legal matters across the business.

Description

The Legal Counsel will be:

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts across the Group and its subsidiary businesses.
• Advising key stakeholders on commercial, contractual and legal risk matters.
• Supporting corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals and wider M&A activity.
• Assisting with supplier, customer and strategic business agreements.
• Providing pragmatic legal advice on a broad range of day-to-day in-house legal matters across the business.

Profile

The Legal Counsel should be:

• Qualified Solicitor.
• Experienced in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Able to provide practical, business-focused legal advice to non-legal stakeholders.
• Comfortable managing a varied workload across multiple business areas.
• Ideally experienced within an in-house legal team, although private practice lawyers with strong commercial experience are encouraged to apply.
• Exposure to corporate transactions, acquisitions or M&A work would be advantageous.

Job Offer

• Salary of £65,000 - £75,000 depending on experience.
