Our client is looking to recruit a legal cashier to join an existing team on a full-time permanent basis. Working within a large legal cashiering function, you will be responsible for ensuring all day-to-day transactions across both client and office bank accounts are processed accurately, within appropriate deadlines and in line with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules (SAR). The structure of the team means that the Legal Cashiers rotate and cover duties thus ensuring all team members gain a broader cashiering knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Inputting and processing client transactions
  2. Reconciling and maintaining client ledgers
  3. Reconciling client and office bank accounts
  4. Managing the recovery of WIP, fees and disbursements in conjunction with the fee earners
Requirements:

Ideally you will have demonstrable experience of client and/or office cashiering and will have extensive and up to date knowledge of the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules. Be a strong communicator with the ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise workloads and enjoy working in a friendly but fast-paced and professional environment.
