Legal Cashier
Central London
£35,000 - £42,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedLegal Cashierto join a dynamic International Law Firm in Central London. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in legal finance and a thorough understanding of theSolicitors' Accounts Rules (SARS).

Please only apply if you have previous experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm. This is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process client transactions (incoming/outgoing payments)
• Post and check bills, credit notes, and credit card payments
• Log disbursements and counsel fee invoices
• Handle international payments and disbursement payments
• Manage matter closures and write-offs
• Open supplier accounts
• Manage retained funds and ensure timely return to clients
• Maintain accurate financial records (banking, transfers, petty cash)
• Calculate client interest
• Provide and update client statements
• Assist with month-end and year-end procedures
• Produce time reports
• Contact suppliers for statements of accounts

Education & Experience:

• GCSEs or equivalent (A-C in Maths and English)
