I am currently recruiting for a legal firm based in Brighton. They are currently looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their growing team.

This is a full-time permanent role, which is primarily office based for the initial 3 month period for training with hybrid arrangements to follow.

Typical duties include:

1. Managing the day-to-day finance function
2. Reconciling payments and processing invoices
3. Assisting with year-end audit processes
4. Handling all transactions for the practice
5. Completing VAT returns
6. Assisting with any other ad hoc duties where required

The successful candidate:

1. Previous experience in a similar role
2. The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
3. Excellent communication, both written and verbal
4. Experience working within a legal firm
