Job summary

RG Consultancy are supporting an excellent law firm who are looking for a Legal Cashier to join their finance team based out of their Blackburn office. The role will report to the Finance Manager and work alongside a team of Legal Cashiers and responsibilities will include a range of daily banking and ledger tasks.

This role is ideal for someone with prior Legal Cashier experience, or an accounting professional used to working as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Legal Cashier role is preferred.
• Candidates from an accounting background who are used to being part of a team will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Process client and office transactions.
• Daily banking tasks including bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy.
• Petty cash reconciliations.
• Process payments accurately and on time (bank transfers).
• Purchase ledger administration.
• Monthly reconciliations of nominal ledger.
• Record payments received.
• Assist with year end audit preparation.
