Job summary

RG Consultancy supporting a respected law firm is seeking a Legal Cashier to join the finance team in Blackburn. The role reports to the Finance Manager and involves processing client and office transactions, daily bank reconciliations, and payments processing.

The ideal candidate will have prior Legal Cashier experience or a background in accounting and enjoy working in a collaborative finance team. 25 days holiday, pension, and free parking on site are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Legal Cashier or from an accounting background.
• Experience in bank reconciliations and processing payments.
• Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process client and office transactions.
• Daily banking tasks - bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy
• Petty cash reconciliations
• Processing payments accurately and on time - bank transfers
• Monthly reconciliations of nominal ledger
• Recording payments received
• Assist with year end audit preparation

RG Consultancy are supporting an excellent law firm who are looking for a Legal Cashier to join their finance team based out of their Blackburn office.

The role will report to the Finance Manager and work alongside a team of LegalCashiers and responsibilities will include:

• Process client and office transactions
• Daily banking tasks - bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy
• Petty cash reconciliations
• Processing payments accurately and on time - bank transfers
• Monthly reconciliationsof nominalledger
• Recording payments received
• Assist with year end audit preparation

This role is ideal for someone with prior experience within a Legal Cashier role but likewise can consider someone from an accountingbackground who is used to being part of a team.
