Job summary

A reputable law firm in Warrington is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join their accounts team. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of experience and be familiar with Solicitors Accounts Rules. Responsibilities include daily bank reconciliations, processing payments, and liaising with fee earners. The firm offers a competitive salary up to £30,000, 25 days holiday, and a supportive hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a legal cashier.
• Proficient in processing daily bills and payments.
• Familiarity with CHAPS and Faster payments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily bank reconciliations.
• Process CHAPS/faster payment requests.
• Liaise with fee earners and secretaries for queries.
• Input client/office credit/debit balances accurately.
• Process and check daily cheque runs.
• Handle petty cash transactions.
• Prepare month-end reports.

A highly rated, Warrington based Law Firm with an excellent reputation is seeking a Legal Cashier to join their accounts team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone that has at least 1 years’ experience as a legal cashier to join an established Law Firm that will provide an supportive working environment and training.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Daily Bank Reconciliations
• CHAPS/Faster payment requests
• Liaising with fee earners and secretaries to assist with queries
• Accurate data input of all client/office, credit/debit balances.
• Processing and checking daily cheque runs
• Processing daily bills and card payments
• Petty cash
• Month End Reports

Be up to date with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
