Legal Cashier - Farnborough - Permanent Salary: 30,000 - 35,000
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Legal Cashier to join our busy Accounts department. This role is essential to the smooth financial operation of the firm, ensuring compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules and supporting both the accounts team and legal fee earners.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Account Management:
Maintain and reconcile client and office accounts
Process client payments including cheques, electronic transfers, and card payments
Ensure all transactions comply with SRA Accounts Rules
Bank Transactions:
Monitor and allocate daily bank transactions
Complete bank reconciliations
Carry out banking duties including deposits and withdrawals
Financial Administration:
Process supplier invoices and prepare payment runs
Manage petty cash and expense claims
Generate financial reports including cash flow and balance sheets
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and legal requirements
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
Support:
Respond to account queries from fee earners and support staff
Offer financial guidance as needed across the firm
Requirements:
Prior experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar role
Sound understanding of SRA Accounts Rules and legal financial compliance
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., LEAP, Xero) and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
