Supporting the Safeguarding Children’s team, our close-knit group of 19 enjoy working with Children’s services to ensure vulnerable children in Hampshire are protected. Join our team with this unique opportunity.
We currently have a legal assistant role available within our friendly team. In your role, you will be allocated work by the lawyers, including case management, documentation preparation, research, disclosure matters, and administrative duties related to childcare cases. Our roles offer a supportive environment within Hampshire County Council and provide opportunities for career development.
Ideally, you will be educated to degree level, preferably in Law, or have equivalent qualifications, with recent experience in local government and/or child law matters. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential. The ability to work as part of a team, meet deadlines, and work under pressure is key.
