Legal Assistant, Global Entertainment Legal

Amazon Music is looking for a talented Legal Assistant, located in London, to support our growing European Global Entertainment Legal team (Amazon Music, Prime Video, Amazon MGM Studios, Audible, Twitch, and Amazon Games). We are looking for someone who can independently and quickly complete high volumes of administrative tasks and projects, can identify and implement contracting and other process improvements, and loves learning new subject matters and issues.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to efficiently collaborate with Amazon’s entertainment legal and business teams, prioritise competing demands effectively, and solve problems proactively and creatively.

Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include administering contracts, identifying and implementing automation/simplification projects, supporting the adoption of legal AI tools, as well as general administrative tasks for entertainment legal and business clients, such as offsite and pro bono work coordination. The role also involves project management including information sharing, gathering metrics, and preparing reports.

About the team
The role supports an international team, with lawyers in the UK and across the EU. The role is also closely integrated with colleagues in the US, and some of the work will be global in reach and impact. Some international travel is to be expected.

• Previous experience as a legal or executive assistant, office manager or administrator
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and readiness to quickly learn new software and AI tools
• Ability to simplify and improve legal and contracting processes
• Ability to update legal resources
• Great organizational and project management skills, and ability to work independently

• Experience working in an in-house legal department and contract management experience
• Education to University level or equivalent
• Command of other European languages, in particular German, French, Italian or Spanish is a plus
