Are you looking to start or grow your legal career in a role that keeps you right at the heart of client service and casework?

An interesting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join us in our Court of Protection department in our Cardiff office on a full-time permanent basis. The Legal Assistant will work closely with Fee Earners to support the day-to-day running of matters effectively and efficiently, improving client service and compliance where possible, attending clients in person in the office or at their home, and supporting the team to manage financial affairs for our vulnerable clients.

What will you be doing?
  1. Support the organisation and progression of legal matters, helping fee earners manage workloads effectively, prioritise tasks, and deliver excellent client service, including managing financial affairs for our vulnerable clients.
  2. Assist with day-to-day legal work, including drafting correspondence, conducting legal research, liaising directly with clients, and preparing supporting documentation.
  3. Manage essential administrative processes, including file opening, document management, billing, and compliance checks.
  4. Handle new client enquiries, ensuring potential clients receive a warm, efficient introduction to our services and follow-ups are handled promptly.
