Job summary

Jameson Legal Tech is seeking a proactive legal engineer (PQE 4+ in disputes or transactions) to bridge innovation and practice teams. You will help lawyers maximise new legal technology, while leading AI-driven initiatives and governance across the firm.

As SME on AI applications in law, you will shape matter management, knowledge retrieval, and contract review, and drive adoption of the right tools for the right tasks through collaborative, cross-team engagement.

Qualifications

• 4 years PQE in disputes or transactions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
• Proven track record implementing improvements into practice.
• Passion for innovation and driving adoption.
• Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-enabled workflows for legal teams.
• Work with the innovation team on firm-wide technology adoptions.
• Act as SME on using AI to solve legal problems (matter management, knowledge retrieval, contract review).
• Support lawyers in adopting the right tools for the right tasks.
• Lead sessions to update staff on emerging legal tech and AI tools.
• Collaborate with partners and knowledge lawyers to understand matters workflow.
