We're a forward-thinking law firm with multiple offices across the UK, providing legal expertise and commercial advice across various sectors, including Real Estate. We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our large Residential Real Estate team in Newcastle on a full-time, permanent basis.
Our Residential team is one of the largest of its kind, supporting clients in projects involving Registered Providers in the affordable housing sector, PLC and regional house builders, PRS investors, and land-owners, focusing on residential and mixed-use developments for build-to-rent and build-for-sale sectors.
This role involves working on a range of matters, including housing and leasehold management issues such as shared ownership and right to buy, for developers, investors, or affordable housing clients. You will ensure new files are opened correctly, comply with internal processes and client requirements, and produce initial correspondence. As you develop your knowledge, there will be opportunities to take on more complex responsibilities.

This is a great opportunity for someone progressing in their Legal Admin career or a graduate aiming to enter the legal profession. You should have a strong team ethic, excellent attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to meet deadlines. Prior real estate experience is advantageous but not essential. Essential skills include strong IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and excellent communication skills.
