Job summary

Plumb Centre in Leeds is seeking an Operations Assistant to join a busy branch. This permanent, full-time role is based in Leeds, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–17:00pm.

You will pick/pack items in the warehouse, drive a 3.5t van when required, and help place deliveries in their areas while supporting trade counters to meet customers’ needs. Applicants should have warehouse experience, hold a full UK driving license, and be capable of handling a physically demanding workload.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is essential.
• Full UK driving license required.
• Able to handle a physically demanding job.

Responsibilities

• Working within the warehouse picking/packing goods.
• Driving the 3.5t van when required.
• Putting away deliveries into allocated areas.
• Assisting the team in all areas of the branch including the trade counter and where needed to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Manual handling and using lifting equipment.
