Job summary

Plumb Centre in Chelmsford is seeking an Operations Assistant to join our warehouse team. You will be responsible for picking and packing goods, putting away deliveries, and supporting the branch to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, a dependable work ethic, and a can-do attitude. The role involves manual handling and equipment operation within a busy branch environment.

As an Operations Assistant based in Chelmsford you will be responsible for:

• Working within the warehouse picking/packing goods


• Putting away deliveries into allocated areas


• Assisting the team in all areas of the branch including the trade counter and where needed to ensure customer requirements are met


• Manual handling and using lifting equipment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm.
