Job summary

Juniper Training is seeking a proactive Recruitment Officer for the Leeds Training Centre to help young people access our programmes. You’ll recruit students through outreach, build relationships with schools and agencies, and promote pathways and Apprenticeships.

Part-time role (18.75 hours weekly) with permanent contract, salary £26,000-£30,000 FTE plus OTE pro rata. You’ll interview applicants, complete paperwork, and support students to succeed.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 2 English and Maths.
• Experience in outreach, sales, marketing, or recruitment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively recruiting students through outreach, networking, and marketing activities.
• Building strong relationships with local agencies, schools, and other referral sources.
• Promoting Juniper pathways and Apprenticeships through events, fairs, and pop-up shops.
• Using social media to raise Juniper's profile and attract students.
• Interviewing potential students and completing accurate paperwork.
• Identifying support needs and creating initial support plans to ensure students thrive.
• Ensuring our Leeds centre meets its student recruitment targets.
