Headley Professional Recruitment Ltd. in Leeds is seeking a Mechanical, Electrical and Refrigeration Estimator to join a main contractor’s team on permanent or freelance basis. The role sits in the commercial bid team, managing cost estimates and robust submissions from tender to award.

Hybrid work with some days from home is available. You will communicate with clients, scope requirements, negotiate pricing for materials and labour, and prepare detailed tender documents while building

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years spent in a similar position for a similar company within the industry.
• Excellent organisation and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tenders/estimates and cost proposals are compliant to processes, mitigating and advising of risk and delivering opportunities and buying gains.
• Communicating with current and prospective customers, scoping requirements, taking client briefs using previous experience to provide a consultative approach
• Negotiating Pricing for required Materials & labour
• Preparing detailed tender documents inline with client requirement
• Develop new and build existing relationships with key sub-contractors.
• Develop key relationships with customers, client project surveyors and client's advisors.
• Ensuring proposals are professionally submitted in line with tender requirements.
