Job summary

AltsWire is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Leeds-based team at Thorpe Park. You will support the Project Manager in coordinating site activities, managing programme delivery, and ensuring regulatory compliance on wastewater infrastructure projects.

You will engage with clients, regulators and the supply chain, monitor budgets, and oversee contract administration. The role requires strong organisation, communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Experience in the utility sector supervising a team (EUSR SHEA Water).
• Full driving licence.
• Strong IT skills and highly organised.
• Excellent communication skills and promote wellbeing and inclusion within the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning and delivery, ensuring work is completed on time, safely and to specification.
• Support engagement with clients, regulators, local authorities and the supply chain.
• Monitor project budgets and cost forecasts; assist with NEC4 contract administration.
• Site monitoring to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise daily with sub-contractors and coordinate design, procurement and construction activities.
