Job summary

Live Recruitment Limited is assisting a market-leading LED display specialist in Glasgow to recruit an LED Technical Operations Manager (Events). The role focuses on hands-on technical delivery, project support, and leading a team across live event rentals and permanent installations.

The ideal candidate has at least five years working with LED display technology, strong fault-finding skills and proven leadership of technicians and freelance crews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience with LED display technology.
• Strong understanding of LED systems, signal flow and video distribution.
• Experience configuring LED processing platforms including Novastar.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, testing, configuring and commissioning LED display systems.
• Installing, calibrating and maintaining indoor and outdoor LED displays.
• Configuring LED processors, controllers and video distribution systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing LED cabinets, receiving cards, power systems and related equipment.
• Leading LED system deployment for sporting events and broadcasts.
• Managing load-in, live operation and de-rig of LED systems.
• Producing technical documentation and installation records.
• Supervising technicians, freelancers and installation crews.
