Cambridge Regional College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lecturer in Maths to join our Service Industries, Business and Travel department on a part time basis for 3 days per week (22.5 hours). As a Maths Lecturer, you will:
Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across a range of maths courses, including GCSE and Functional Skills.
Work collaboratively within a diverse and dynamic department serving learners in Business, Travel and Tourism, and Service Industry pathways.
Support students to develop core numeracy skills essential for both academic success and future careers.
Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and continuous improvement of teaching and learning strategies.
Inspire confidence, encourage progression, and ensure excellent learner outcomes.
A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
A degree or relevant qualification in Mathematics or a related field.
A passion for teaching and supporting students from a variety of backgrounds.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience teaching Maths in an FE or secondary setting is desirable, but not essential.
