Paston Sixth Form College is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable Lecturer in Social Sciences (0.4 FTE) to join our successful team, delivering outstanding teaching to post-16 students with a focus on Criminology.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, monitor progress, contribute to curriculum development, and support Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) delivery within a supportive, ambitious teaching environment.

Formación

• Honours degree in Social Science or related discipline.
• Qualified teacher status or willingness to work towards a teaching qualification.
• Recent experience delivering teaching to post-16 learners.
• Ability to support Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
• Strong knowledge of assessment requirements in Social Sciences.

• Holdsa relevant honours degree in a Social Science subject area (such as Sociology,Psychology, Criminology or a related discipline).
• Isa qualified teacher or willing to work towards a teaching qualification.
• Hasrecent and relevant experience of delivering high-quality teaching withinpost-16 education.
• Isable to support with the delivery of the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)
• Possessesstrong subject knowledge and an understanding of assessment requirements withinSocial Sciences qualifications.

• Demonstratesa strong track record of supporting high levels of student achievement andprogression.
