Lecturer in Maths

£27,185 - £41,014 per annum.

The Role

As a Lecturer in Maths, you will be part of the Maths & English department, delivering Maths GCSE and Functional Skills to learners on study programmes. You will contribute to the development and success of the department, including focusing on attendance, achievement, and student success. Your responsibilities will also include curriculum design and development linked to vocational areas, ensuring a high standard of quality provision.

What are we looking for?

We seek an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with a Level 4 or above qualification in a relevant subject and a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one within two years of appointment).

Candidates should have experience teaching Maths to 14-19-year-old learners and possess a strong awareness of current developments in the discipline. Proven organisational skills, the ability to work well within a team, and flexibility are essential.
