University of Bath invites a Lecturer in low-carbon Hydrogen Technology to lead an ambitious, broad research and innovation agenda across fundamental, applied and translational hydrogen studies. You will advance independent programs, work within the UK-HyRES portfolio, and help shape Bath's hydrogen research ecosystem.

Success requires building collaborations with Bath researchers and industry partners, driving funding, and mentoring PhD students and early career researchers while contributing

Qualifications

• Lecturer with a developing research profile in hydrogen technologies.

Responsibilities

• Establish an independent, technically distinctive research programme in hydrogen energy.
• Contribute to UK-HyRES and develop new collaborative activity through the Hub.
• Develop experimental capability and use Bath’s research infrastructure effectively.
• Publish high-quality research outputs and pursue UKRI/Innovate UK/Horizon Europe funding.
• Build industry partnerships and translate research to practical hydrogen technologies.
• Supervise PhD students and postdocs and contribute to teaching.
