We are looking for an academic with established expertise in human-computer interaction to lead research, teach and help with the running of the department, with the ability and enthusiasm to create an engaging experience for our excellent students.

We're particularly looking for individuals with research interests in extended reality (AR/MR/VR), physical computing, interaction techniques, wearable and ubiquitous computing, brain-computer interfaces, or AI/ML-driven computational interaction.

You will be part of the Human-Computer Interaction group within the Department of Computer Science, but your research interests may engage with the other groups on the Department: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Visual Computing and Mathematical Foundations.

The Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) research group boasts a rich legacy as one of the most esteemed and accomplished HCI groups in the UK.
