Job summary

Northamptonshire Based College is seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Foundation Learning on a permanent, full-time basis. This 37-hour-per-week post combines teaching, learner support and team leadership to help students develop independence, confidence and employability skills.

You will deliver high-quality teaching, adapt learning materials, supervise Learning Support Assistants and coordinate examination access arrangements.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English Language at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
• Experience working in a similar education or support-focused role.
• Experience supporting learners with additional needs.
• Experience working with post-16 learners.
• Evidence of successful classroom practice that motivates and engages students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
• Relevant qualifications or practical experience working with animals (desirable/where applicable).

Responsibilities

The Role
