Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Lecturer in English to join our Slough & Langley College team, starting September 2025. This is a permanent, full-time position.
As a Lecturer in English, you will deliver effective teaching programs within your competency areas, focusing on developing independent learners and facilitating student progression.
You will work closely with Specialist Learning Coaches to support learners facing barriers to learning, helping them overcome these barriers to ensure high levels of attendance, retention, and achievement. Your role includes assessing learners from application through to progression, setting targets, and providing necessary support.
The ideal candidate will possess a level 3 or higher qualification in English and a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one within the first two years of employment. You should have experience in curriculum development, managing the learning process, and supporting learners to achieve high standards.
