Stanmore College is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation professional to deliver high-quality teaching across Levels 1-3 and contribute to T Level provision. You will bring practical industry knowledge to the classroom and help students develop the skills needed for progression into further study, apprenticeships and employment.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Installation professional with a strong understanding of the industry and a passion for developing learners. Ideally, you will already have experience of teaching or training, but we would also welcome applications from experienced industry professionals who are looking to move into teaching and can demonstrate the ability to engage and inspire young people.
You will bring your practical knowledge and industry experience into the classroom, helping learners develop the technical skills, knowledge and professional behaviours they need to progress into further study, apprenticeships and employment.

Our Engineering and Built Environment provision is continuing to grow, and we are developing our Electrical Installation courses as part of this expansion. This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of the provision, strengthen links with industry and help ensure our students gain the practical skills and knowledge they need for their future careers.
Working within the Engineering and Built Environment team, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Electrical Installation programmes, helping learners develop the skills and knowledge needed for the industry.
You will:
You will have a strong background in Electrical Installation, supported by relevant qualifications and/or industry experience, together with up-to-date knowledge of the subject.
Ideally, you will have experience of teaching Electrical Installation and a recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed or DIT. However, we will also consider experienced industry professionals who have the knowledge, communication skills and enthusiasm to make the transition into teaching. The College can support the right candidate to work towards a teaching qualification.
