Job summary

Northumberland Skills, part of Northumberland County Council, seeks a Lecturer in Multiskills (Plastering, Painting & Decorating) to join our Construction team at Northumberland facilities. You will deliver high-quality teaching to learners and apprentices, inspire students, and work with employers to keep programmes relevant to local industry.

We welcome experienced industry professionals transitioning to education and offer support to achieve teaching qualifications.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification or above in Painting & Decorating, Plastering or Construction or a related discipline.
• Significant industry experience within multi-skills trades.

Northumberland Skills, part of Northumberland County Council, is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Multiskills (Plastering, Painting & Decorating) to join our expanding Construction team at our industry-focused training facilities in Northumberland. Applicants should possess:

• A Level 3 qualification or above in either Painting & Decorating, Plastering or Construction or a related discipline.

A teaching qualification and assessor qualification are desirable; however, support will be provided for the right candidate to achieve these qualifications whilst in post. A Market Force Allowance may be applied to the main scale salary, depending on qualifications, skills, and relevant industry experience.
