Job summary

Northumberland County Council invites applications for a Lecturer in Multiskills (Plastering, Painting & Decorating) at Seghill / Ashington Campus. The post is permanent, 37 hours per week, delivering high-quality teaching to learners and apprentices and building strong links with employers to keep curricula aligned with the needs of the construction sector.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification or above in Painting & Decorating, Plastering or Construction or a related discipline.
• Significant industry experience within multi-skills trades.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding learning experiences and learner outcomes.
• Ability to inspire and motivate learners and apprentices to achieve their full potential and progress into construction careers.
