Job summary

City College Norwich is seeking a Game Design Lecturer to join the Media, Business and Digital Industries team in Norwich. This 0.9 FTE, permanent post focuses on teaching Games Design Level 2 & 3 and inspiring students toward apprenticeships, employment or higher education.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in art and digital media with experience in 3D design and animation, and be technically adept with Unreal Engine 5 and other industry standard tools to deliver engaging,

• Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in teaching Games Design Level 2 & 3, or a willingness to work towards these qualifications
• Strong background in art and digital media with demonstrable experience in 3D design and animation
• Technically competent with using Unreal Engine 5 plus other industry standard game design software
• Talented individual who is ready to educate the next generation of game designers, bringing both creative and technical knowledge into the classroom.
• Significant industry experience with a clear commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of contemporary practices and technical developments within the games sector
