Job summary

Cheshire College South & West is seeking a Lecturer in Electrical or Plumbing Installation for the Crewe Campus to inspire and educate learners in a dynamic Construction department.

The role is permanent, 37 hours per week, with a focus on delivering a range of installation courses and maintaining records of learner progress. A Level 3 in Electrical/Plumbing and a teaching qualification (or progression toward one) are required, along with DBS clearance and English/Maths basics.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above in Electrical or Plumbing Installation with a minimum of 5 years industry experience.
• GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths.
• Teaching qualification or commitment to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach on a range of Electrical or Plumbing Installation courses.
• Contribute to aspirational teaching, learning and assessment; and
• Keep accurate records for learners’ progress in College.
