Job Description: Lecturer - Electrical Installations

Hours: 35 per week (Fractional / flex Hours Available)

The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) is seeking an experienced electrical installations tutor to join our electrical team. We aim to unlock potential and foster success for our students.

The Role:

Teaching a variety of City and Guilds and EAL qualifications, from level 1 to level 3, including apprenticeships and T-Levels. You will supervise your curriculum area, ensuring targets are met, and deliver high-quality, learner-focused education in a supportive environment. You will also develop the curriculum to meet national standards and quality targets.

About You:

We seek passionate professionals with:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical installation industry
• Experience teaching electrical installation
• An Internal Verifier qualification (V1) or equivalent (advantageous)
• Relevant vocational qualifications up to level 3 in electrical installation; JIB gold card preferred
• Qualified to 18th edition; 2391 qualification support available if needed
• Teaching qualifications (e.g., DTLLS, Cert Ed) or willingness to obtain
• GCSE grade A*-C in English and Math or equivalent
