Job summary

NPTC Group of Colleges in Wales is inviting applications for an Assessor: Carpentry on a full-time, permanent basis. The role focuses on delivering vocational assessment within our Carpentry pathways, supporting learners and ensuring quality standards across college provisions.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 qualification (NVQ/QCF or equivalent) in Carpentry or a related discipline, plus an Assessor Award and Level 2 Maths/English. IT literacy to Level 2 is expected.

An exciting opportunity to joinourPathwaysTrainingdepartment has arisen where you will play a key role in the delivery of education.Thisrole can also provide you with worthwhile experience if you wish to pursue a career in teaching at a later stage.

Contract:Full time, permanent.

37 hours per week (including evening work and occasional early mornings and weekends).

About you:You will need to hold a Level3qualification(NVQ/QCFor equivalent)ina relevant disciplineand have relevantindustrialexperiencealong withanAssessor Award. Candidatesrequirelevel 2 qualifications in Maths and English and be IT Literate to level 2.
