Job summary

The Bedford College Group is seeking a Lecturer in Built Environment and Sustainable Development for Tresham College, Corby and Wellingborough campuses. You will design and deliver engaging programmes in Built Environment and Sustainable Development, and support learners to achieve their potential.

We require Level 3 specialist qualification with PGCE/Cert Ed and commitment to TAQA, plus teaching experience and strong safeguarding knowledge.

Qualifications

• Level 3 specialist qualification with PGCE/Cert Ed and commitment to TAQA.
• Experience designing assignments and tracking learner progress.
• Strong safeguarding and British Values knowledge.
• Proficient IT and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum design and Built Environment delivery aligned to industry needs.
• Deliver high‑quality teaching with real‑world learning activities.
• Monitor attendance, assess progress, and manage behaviour.
• Prepare schemes of work, resources and safe learning environments.
• Contribute to course development and external engagement.
