Job summary
Bedford College Group is seeking a Lecturer in Built Environment and Sustainable Development. Based across Corby, Wellingborough and other sites, you will design and deliver engaging Built Environment programs while supporting learners to reach their potential.
You will assess, track progress and manage classroom safety, with strong focus on safeguarding, CPD and collaborative teamwork across college sites.
Qualifications
- Level 3 specialist qualification with PGCE/Cert Ed and commitment to TAQA.
- Experience in teaching, assessment design and learner progress tracking.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, British values and QA processes.
- Organised with good IT skills and ability to manage groups effectively.
- Commitment to CPD, safeguarding and collaboration across sites.
Responsibilities
- Curriculum design and Built Environment delivery.
- Teaching and learner development with engaging activities.
- Assessment, progress tracking and behaviour management.
- Plan schemes of work, resources and safe learning environments.
- Collaborate on course development while upholding safeguarding and safety standards.
