The Department of Mechatronics, Biomedical and Design Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Designer/Lecturer to provide maternity cover within the Product Design group.
This fixed-term role focuses on teaching product/industrial design subjects, supporting students across design thinking, CAD, prototyping skills and final-year project work.
You will join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering innovative, practice-led design education that prepares students for careers in product and industrial design in a university focused on maximising the employability of its students and will, as such, be expected to pick up all the standard duties of a lecturer within the department. You will have a keen interest and experience in teaching students, and have experience which supports you in this mission, this could be either academic research or industrial experience.
This role may meet the requirements for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
