Job summary

Bank of America UK is seeking an Operations Consultant - Leasing in Bromley to join the Cash and Reconciliation team, responsible for daily cash management, reconciliations, and billing processes, ensuring strong control environment and timely resolution of exceptions.

The role requires extensive experience in billing, accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliation, with advanced Excel and ability to leverage AI tools to boost productivity and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience in billing, accounts payable & receivable and reconciliation processes required.
• Ability to leverage Microsoft Copilot and other approved AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions and funding requirements.
• Post cash into System of Records and General Ledger via Manual Journal Entry.
• Prepare and process monthly direct debit collections files.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly General Ledger reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation exceptions within service levels.
• Escalate ageing breaks and high-risk items as needed.
• Maintain reconciliation records and supporting documentation.
• Generate, validate, and process customer billing and invoicing activities per contracts and SLAs.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains.
