Job description

Role Title: Leasing Consultant, Office-based

Main Purpose of Role

The Leasing Consultant is a sales-based role, primarily responsible for managing incoming customer enquiries and leads. The role involves responding promptly to customer enquiries, providing excellent customer service, and sharing appropriate information. It has a direct impact on the Sales Team's performance and the overall success of the business.

Responsibilities
  1. Customer Relationship Management: Building a positive first impression, supporting customers through their leasing journey, and ensuring fair treatment aligned with the company's 'DRIVE' values.
  2. Day-to-day Management of Sales Leads/Enquiries: Responding to new leads, managing existing customers, adhering to sales processes, updating systems, and providing clear information.
  3. Performance Measures: Staying on top of daily tasks and activities, adopting the right behaviors to achieve success, and supporting managers and teams.
  4. Communication: Clearly communicating information to customers and providing regular updates to managers on performance.
  5. Reporting: Providing clear reports on sales performance to ensure targets are met.
  6. Relationship Management: Supporting relationships with key suppliers and internal teams.
  7. Compliance: Staying updated on compliance requirements, completing necessary training, understanding FCA guidelines, and managing complaints and risks proactively.
  8. Health & Safety: Supporting the company's health and safety policies and escalating issues appropriately.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
  • Experience in vehicle leasing or motor industry (desirable).
  • Experience working in a busy sales environment.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and systems.
  • Approachable, supportive, with problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
